Lis Wiehl was born on August 19th, 1962. She was previously a Fox News legal analyst.
She has been an adjunct professor of Law in New York Law School and was formerly an Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has also provided legal analysis on the National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and raised at Yakima within Washington State, matriculated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She received her bachelor's degree at Barnard College, followed by a master's degree in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl served as prosecutor for the US Attorney's office. She served as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She served as "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee at the moment of Clinton's impeachment." She was tenured professor of law in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 as well as the director of in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has worked as a Fox News analyst since 2001.
